Happy Independence day!!! to all my indo friends...xD
INDONESIA MERDEKA!!!
yesterday was our small celebration from OLDHAM HALL...
we went to botanical garden...
we played the so-called traditional games and have some indo food...
the games are lyk balap karung(race with gunny sack), lari kelereng(race while havin spoon with marble on ur mouth),makan krupuk(eating keropok tied on a rope) and cerdas cermat(quiz on indo stuff)
about the games...
firstly it's the makan krupuk...i thought it's quite good to have Aldo the super tall guy in my grp...but apparently his existence didnt help in winning the game...but we were stil proud of him...xD
we had quite some fun playing too...
then it's the balap karung...i was playin also...it's so paiseh to fall when racing with the gunny sack...but i think everyone are just too excited to care about anybody falling...cos quite some people fell too...
the highlight of the show would be when apek was the last person to race and we all cheered for him...but he only race halfway...
the lari kelereng game was okay...but u know indonesian...we just keep walkin even when the marble dropped and we were supposed to redo the race...xp
the funniest part was the cerdas cermat...most of us were lyk clueless about the qn asked...maybe only me not most of us...
alot of funny qns asked such as about ministers and head of state...
we were stunned by the qn...haha...
and we also has some conflict bout the ans of the qn...
Ariston was super kiasu during the game..haha...
in the end karen's grp won most of the segments...while Fanie's grp also win 1 segment...xD
congrats to their team...
we then sang national anthem and hav dinner...
the dinner was okay, not very nice...xp
then we hav singin session bfore me tiwi and karen went off to hav a walk at botanical garden...
we didnt noe that botanical garden was quite fun and pretty and nice...
we planned to go to the swan lake but it's lyk at the end of botanical garden and it's quite dark alr...so we changed direction and go the the Shaw Foundation's Stage by the lake...
there was a dance performance so we sat there and watched...
afterwards we walked to the exit at Orchard rd...and continue the quest for ching cheong fan with durian...as tiwi is in the craze of durian...
we called up some ppl...there were 9 of us...karen, tiwi, awi, apek,feri,aldo,bebek,teki,and me...xD
we called for 5plates of the XOdurian ching cheong fun, 1cheese lobster ching cheong fun and 1 green tea glutinous rice ball, with 3canned drink and 3icemilo..and it cost us $46.40...
of all i only ate the cheese lobster and the green tea ball with ice milo..
it's kinda funny when karen mixed up some of the hokkien words with animal...and when teki complains about the milk cost $0.10 while the ice cost $0.30...
we were having quite a fun talk and keep laughing lyk drunk ppl...
some ppl say it's bad to eat durian and prawn together..but they did...
and also some ppl say it's dangerous to hav durian and wine together...
can cause death esp if u drink the strong alcohol...but ytd we saw ppl eatin durian with wine...
as some also say that wine improve the taste of durian...
so hopefully those ppl are okay..xD
so that's the end of the journey ytd...
OH BTW..YTD INDONESIA HAD THE FIRST GOLD!!

it's from badminton-male double...they beat CHINA at 12-21,21-11,21-16
today the mixed double is also playin at the final..so it would be indo's bday present if they get a gold...
tonite the feng tian wei from sg is also fighting for a gold...finally sg is getting their long awaited second medal from olympic...if she won she'll get $1million...i think she can just retire and live very sufficiently...lolx...
anw...today Ms.Kris,Ms.Susan, yindy and i went to ms Carol's place to c the newborn...

he is about 2 months old only...and we took loads of pic...haha...can see on ms.kris facebook when she uploaded...hehe...
it was fun though it's super tiring...
we were lyk sleepin on the journey back...very tiring day...
feel very bad to hari cos i cancelled today tuition again...Dx
