yesterday was Red Cross Flag day..
the whole year 2 innovians were involved.
we were supposed to b at ang mo kio sec by 7.15...
but
i reached amk station at 7.15
then we walked to amkss...
haiz...
but we were not the latest
can u see how bad we were...
not tt i want to complain cos im one of those ppl
who has no sense of punctuality
but i think we shall do better...x)
then
in the canteen, when the supervisor was trying to give instruction
the whole canteen was buzzing like market...
very embarassing i would say
me and my friends kept trying to shoo the crowd
but the attempt didnt help at all
when i saw the other grp, the secondary sch grp
i was ashamed...
(i know this is a bit harsh but that's the fact)
our class headed to amk hub's macd
apparently we were not the only class that went there
alot of other innovians were there too
i mean it's lyk about 9am i guess in the morning
who is out of the house at that time during weekends??
so we had our breakfast and start our quest at about 10am
but not everyone going for the flag day
some of us went for pool
those who continue with flag day
includes me and some of my classmates
decided to ask for donation door to door...
i was in no mood of asking donation act
but haiz..do for the community lor...
we paired up...
me with rudy, siying with zul, alisa with junyang
the rest yankai,yanhao, ignatius and wenxin
they decided to do it on the streets instead
zul sy alisa and junyang do 2 flats, i think
me and rudy do 1 flat only
for the whole an hour, i think
we were so slow lar
haha
we did not bad i think
or shd i say i did ok
hehe...cos according to rudy he or his can is so suay
cos keep kena rejected
i was so happy when i first get the donation
the man was nice and gave quite some coins
pleased..
but not everyone was as nice as him
i once ask a family who's cooking outside their flat
and they were giving me disgusted look, as if i was a beggar
damn irritating, does it kill to donate a few ten cents???
it's for the community after all
helping the poor and those who are in needs
the scariest thing was when i press the bell
and i heard dog's barking
it was very cute but it barks lyk some fierce dog
as we all know i was scared of dogs
i got the shock of the day
and my heart kept pounding
and everytime i heard dog's barking when i press the bell
i continue to other door
it was just to risky...
for the last few floors, i decided to help rudy fill his can
hehe...
apparently i rilly got no idea why he's rejected
he was very nice and polite when he asked for the donation
i've never heard him lyk dat b4
it was so funny tt i laughed
hehe...
anw, it's quite fruitful i think
even though i didnt collect much
some interesting find-outs:
1. ignatius got an ahma giving him 50bucks and
3 person giving him 10 bucks
2. luqman got his can fully filled
while asking for donation outside mrt
(i always thot tt it's not a gd strategy to do so)
