this movie is a must watch! !
mayb it's because im emotional but
i cried watching this
it opened my eyes bout the life of minorities in US
i mean, i know there were racial discrimination and sorts
but it's heartbreaking to see people of our age
the teenagers are living in a war
scared of getting shot when they step out of their home
or witnessing their friends family loved ones died in front of them
no one does anything to help them
no one tries to
no one cares about them
they have to lead their life
they have no trust on other ppl
esp people from other colour other races
even the teachers are not helping them
they think that to educate them is a waste of resources
how sad is that??
their english proficiency is poor
but how to improve it if they are not taught properly
oh and they travel 90 min to sch
they have no interest in education
it's just another phase they hav to go thru
noone inspire them until Erin Gruwell come
a new teacher who has passion to teach them
to make it a better place for them
she changed their perspective of life
and give them a new hope
in price of her marriage
she did everything she capable of to help
in short must watch the movie!!!
